Do you have a soundtrack to your life?

I heard a guy on the subway playing the theme to "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" through his cell phone, and he punctuated the tune with "Yeehaw!" and vocal imitations of gunfire. He got off at my same stop, and transfered underground to my same connecting train, all the while doing the sound effects and holding up the phone to have everyone hear the music. In an odd way, it felt like I was in a film and this was my soundtrack.

  1. I have an idea for a short film about a company that is in the business of providing musicians to play soundtracks for people throughout their daily tasks. Imagine the scene you just described, but with 4 musicians playing the theme to rawhide for him!

  2. I foresee a future where we all have reality tv crews following us around. (Notice I didn't say Documentarians) Much in the same way as there are self-published novels, people are going to want to make reality TV shows of themselves even if it's for no one else's viewing but their own.

And so having a good soundtrack to back that up will be important, I guess is how I'm trying to tie this back in with your original post.
